I attended a camp for art teachers in St. Cloud this June. I made a clay tile (of course I needed to be odd and make a round tile to be different from my classmates), an agateware bowl, and I even took book-making!

Our first home is a work of art!
We moved into a house on 5 acres of beautiful land both wooded and some field for gardening! The house was...well, let's just say I wanted to buy something that I could make my own. EVERYTHING was brown. Everything. So, I made it look like me. Please excuse the mess in some of these photos, but my husband, Newfoundland, and I live here. Everything you see here has been re-painted and re-done in multiple ways. My original art is on the walls, as you can see. These pics were taken months ago, so I don't have a ton of art up at this stage.
Wedding "Art"
This winter was full of wedding planning and teaching simultaneously. We braved a winter wedding and it was great! I pretty much made everything I could. From the painted glasses, to the painted pine cone bouquets and corsages. The sparkly thing in my hair, to my garter. Even all the wood burnt centerpieces, signs, our ring box, as well as our "anniversary capsule". I was busy on my weekends.
Blurb in the paper for mural
Since I created my last mural, I was photographed with it and there was a small article in the Messenger. Haven't done any murals since this one (last August). YET. More to come, of course. Has been a busy year with getting married and all.
